Aims: Why do we keep old buildings? If they are ‘out of date’ why shouldn’t we knock them down? What is the matter with putting in uPVC

windows? What do buildings tell us about our history and is it important ? Where do you go to for information about the historic environment-

and how do you access it? These problems will be put to the test with a student group exercise in Coalbrookdale


Who should attend : Those involved with conservation of the built environment.
